My Review

I love the idea of this book. As a kid, I had an illustrated Bible that I loved so much but never thought to have something that involves the Bible and bedtime. When I first told my daughter about this book, she was so excited. So excited that she didn't want to wait around until bedtime to read it. So I let her have it and told her to let me know what she thought of it. She loved it so much that she is currently reading it again. I love that my 8 year old has taken an interest in what the Bible has to offer. I love that she has an open mind to choose freely what she believes in. She has told me time and time again that she believes in God and everything He believes in. I have not had the opportunity to browse through it yet as she has had it in her possession since I have received it but if she enjoys it, it can only mean that I'll enjoy it. While I caught her reading it, I did glance at the two pages visible to me that she was reading. I love the illustrations in it. I love that it's not meant to be an overload on children but that they can enjoy the story and understand what He is all about. I look forward to reading it to my youngest daughter who is 2. I know she'll be more interested in the pictures for right now but she'll understand who God is, what His message is and what He is all about.

I have been given the opportunity to give one of these beautifully made books to one of my lucky readers.

I usually just make up stories for my kids at bedtime and will often use an event in their day to make it more relatable -Nicol Bowers
