Discover with Dr. Cool makes some of the most unique scientific products I have seen for kids. The best part is I have a little scientist of my own who would love to play with all of the products Discover with Dr. Cool has to offer. They gave us the opportunity to review one and we were both thrilled.

My 9 year old daughter had fun digging through the gemstone to find the treasures inside. She loved it the most when she found the amethyst crystal. When she was done digging, she wanted to do more, so I told her I would see what else they have on their site to purchase.

This kit also comes with a book which she enjoyed reading. She loves to learn as much as she can and science happens to be one of her strong points in school. The puzzles were also very fun to her and she said she learned a lot through using this kit.

As a mom, I find products like this to be great for kids her age. I personally wish they had cool stuff like this around when I was her age. Educational products have come a long way since the late 80's, early 90's though. I actually enjoy seeing the excitement on her face and learning new stuff with her, so I can't complain.
