Almost BTS Time

My oldest daughter received her letter yesterday letting her know which teacher she has. She wasn't in her top 3 but she said she's a nice teacher nonetheless. Meet and Greets are the 22nd. Can't believe summer is almost over and back to school time is almost upon us again here in this household. Good thing we are all done preparing.

I remember when I was still in school, we'd usually wait until the very last second to get everything done. This will be the first time since she has been in school that we have ever been fully prepared long beforehand. So proud of myself for not waiting.

On the 25th, my daughter will be getting all spiffed up with her new clothes, new bookbag, new shoes and whatever else she can come up with for her outfit that isn't against school policy and she will be walking into the school as a 3rd grader. She made Honor Roll all 4 marking periods last year and I foresee it happening again. She has made me very proud.

My only issue is whether or not someone will plan on bullying her this year. The last 2 years of school she has had one or two bullies. This to me is not cool. Let's hope people leave her alone and mind their business this year.

Kids grow up way too fast. She went from being in preschool to soon being a third grader in the blink of an eye.
